This internship will give you a deeper insight into the reality of day-to-day work as a doctor, which could help your decision. The experience you gain will also boost your CV, giving you an extra edge. This internship is specially designed for teenagers between 16-18 years old. Because this work is for teenagers, you don’t need previous experience to join.

Eager to team up with people your age to protect the environment? Can you picture yourself carefully scooping up a turtle egg from the sand and moving it to a safe nest until it hatches? Do you want to release a newborn turtle and watch it scurry over the sand and into the ocean? If you answered yes, then this is the project for you.

Do you want to spend your summer living on a unique island, helping people and the environment? Then you’ll love our Childcare & Conservation High School Special in the Galapagos.

This project is the perfect fit for you if you enjoy working with children, and want to support local communities while learning Spanish at the same time. Best of all, you’ll be able to do all this while travelling with the support and guidance of experienced Projects Abroad staff.  This is also a great way to add practical childcare or teaching experience to your CV, which could help your future career. You don’t need previous experience, as you’ll never be left alone at your placement.

This group internship is a great fit for you if you’re eager to learn more about medicine and travel to South America. You’ll gain practical medical experience for your CV, and you can use it as a chance to see if medicine is the right career for you. We’ll also teach you Spanish, which is a useful skill to have. Medical work experience in Argentina for teenagers will help you stand out, and give you interesting points to talk about in applications and interviews. You don’t need any previous experience to join. This High School Special runs on fixed dates over the summer, usually for two weeks at a time. If you’d like to stay longer, the project is also available for four weeks.

If you’re a young student interested in pursuing a career or activism work in law, psychology, social work, sociology, anthropology, social communication, human rights, or similar this internship is for you. You’ll get a deeper insight into the human rights challenges people struggle with in developing countries. You don’t need any experience to join. We’ll teach you everything you need to know.  Our staff will also be available to answer your questions and offer guidance at all times. This trip has fixed dates throughout the summer, and you can join us for two weeks or four weeks.
