Learning a local language, or a major language spoken around the world, will help you better understand the cultures and perspectives in your chosen destination.
As you learn a language abroad with us, you can choose from one-to-one or group lessons, with varying hours over one, two, three, or four weeks. Lessons will cover speaking, listening, reading and writing. These can be standalone classes or added on to many of our existing projects.
Invest in yourself by becoming a better communicator and reap the rewards that come from speaking another language.

Become a marine conservation volunteer and explore the world beneath the waves. You’ll learn just how important marine life is, while experiencing the beauty of our oceans with like-minded volunteers.

Marine conservation volunteering helps you protect the underwater way of life and everything that goes with it. So whether you’re into sea turtle conservation, or determined to rid the ocean of plastic pollution, we’ll work together to make it happen. Our combined conservation efforts will do things like keep those underwater coral reefs blossoming all year-round!

To build a better future for us all, we need to engage with the big challenges that affect countless communities around the world. A Social Work internship could see you tackling issues such as alcoholism, abuse and family problems. There’s also the option work with families affected by HIV/AIDS. Or contribute to mental wellbeing on a Psychology Internship abroad. The internships bring you face-to-face with people who need support overcoming serious challenges.

Live abroad and Study

We see it every day on our Teaching Projects. By joining us on a volunteer teaching placement, you’ll be able to make this change happen yourself!

Once you’ve traveled with us on a wildlife volunteer program, you won’t see the world in the same way again. You’ll experience the raw beauty and vulnerability of nature as you work alongside an international team. Together, you’ll protect endangered animals and ecosystems. Assisting with the development of these children is a good way to understand the problems they face. Our Youth Development volunteer programs abroad will give you the chance to make a long-term impact on the future of these kids. Your help will improve their confidence as you interact and learn about each other’s cultures.
You’ll stay with local host families and experience what being in a new country is really like. On the days you aren’t working you can explore the city or go on guided tours. You’ll also meet volunteers and other like-minded individuals with whom you can share stories.
