Overview
- This is a volunteer opportunity with Go Experience Morocco or GEM. Devxchange will assist you in choosing the right fit, raising funds with your own campaign page, issuing tax receipts to donors if project meets CRA criteria as a charitable activity. Devxchange will also assist you in onboarding with GEM.
- Go Experience Morocco (GEM) has been created to bring together international volunteers looking forward to volunteering in Morocco and making a difference. GEM provides short and long term volunteering opportunities in different proejcts such as Teaching English, Childcare, Women Education, Sports Education…
- NGO support program is intended to provide local NGOs in need of assistance and orientation a helping hand in their daily activities. Volunteers are expected to come up with their own ideas and share with the NGO’s staff their experiences and ways of doing things.
- Volunteers are also expected to participate actively in the development of the programs in place and discuss any opportunities.

- Start dates: All year round
- Duration: 1 - 24 weeks
- Minimum age: 18 years+
- Cost: 1 week: 240$ | 2 weeks: 450$ | Per additional week: 200$
- Programs are based in Rabat, the capital city of Morocco.
- Volunteers work 5 days per week and 4 hours at least per day.
- Volunteers are placed in local NGOs that are working actively to provide education and support to the people of the local community in order to improve both their personal and educational skills.
